How much does it cost?
Our Standard plan starts at $1,900/month per worker. Our Managed plan starts at $2,500/month and includes additional onboarding, check-ins, and management support. Custom needs such as U.S. phone numbers or multiple workers can be discussed on a call.
Are the workers employees or freelancers?
They are independent contractors managed through Outsource Balkan, not direct employees of your company. You contract with Outsource Balkan LLC for services, and we handle contractor payments and administration on our side.
Do I need to deal with international payroll or foreign taxes?
No. You pay one flat monthly invoice to Outsource Balkan (a U.S. company). We handle all payments to contractors and local tax requirements on our side.
Is this legal and compliant?
Yes. Clients contract with Outsource Balkan LLC, a U.S.-registered company, for remote staffing and contractor management services. We handle contractor payments and administration on our side.
Why is the monthly cost lower than hiring in the U.S.?
Labor costs and cost of living are significantly lower in the Balkans. You avoid direct employee payroll costs such as employer payroll taxes, benefits, HR administration and recruitment costs. You pay a predictable flat fee with no hidden costs.
What does the monthly fee include?
Your monthly fee includes contractor compensation, recruitment and vetting, ongoing program management, administrative support, quality control and communication assistance. There are no surprise fees.
Is Outsource Balkan based in the U.S.?
Yes. Outsource Balkan LLC is a U.S.-registered company. We also operate locally in the Balkans to manage contractors effectively.
Who is behind Outsource Balkan?
Outsource Balkan is led by an American–Serbian co-founder team with firsthand experience living and working in the region, supported by a local team that understands both U.S. business expectations and the strengths of Balkan talent.
Who manages and supervises the worker?
You manage the worker’s daily tasks, just like a remote team member. Outsource Balkan provides oversight, support, and replacement assistance if needed.
What if the worker is not a good fit?
We first work with you to understand the issue and try to resolve it through clearer expectations, feedback, or role adjustments. If the worker is still not the right fit, we assist with finding a replacement so your operations can continue smoothly.
How do payments work?
You receive a single monthly invoice from Outsource Balkan LLC (U.S.). Payments are made monthly in advance, and funds are held by us and released only after the service period is completed, ensuring clarity, accountability, and continuity.
Why do you bill monthly instead of bi-weekly?
Monthly billing keeps the process simple and predictable. It gives contractors payment stability, reduces administrative work, and allows us to provide continuous support without complicated billing cycles.
Will language or cultural differences be a problem?
We screen candidates for English proficiency, communication style, reliability, and familiarity with U.S. business expectations. Our team also helps set communication standards from the start.
What kind of roles do you support?
We typically support roles such as: Administrative assistants, Customer support, Data entry, Back-Office roles, Operations support, Accounting support… Other roles can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
How quickly can we get started?
Once we understand your needs, the process usually takes a couple of days to present suitable candidates and begin onboarding.
Is there a long-term contract?
There are no long-term contracts required to get started. Our goal is long-term partnership, however we understand business needs can change. Of course, if you’re sure you want to continue with a worker, we can offer a three or six month contract.
Why shouldn’t I just hire directly overseas?
